Frankly, I not a big fan of optimising your SOTA gear to very last grams (a notion that seems laughable to me, when on the way to or from an activation I occasionally have to carry my child on my shoulders). It has a whiff of elitism to me.

I’ve done several activations with it so far and have received numerous good signal reports – even without any kind of fine-tuning done on my end (plug-and-radio☺).
